Basic Analytical Statistics with Excel
Overview
BASE a collection of Excel spreadsheets that provide real-time calculations and graphs of statistics for educational use. Taken together, these resources provide a simple – yet quite effective – system that can be used in any typical introductory statistics course and for basic data analyses.
Components
- CRUDE: Course Resource for Understanding Distributions in Excel - Displays common statistical distributions and identifies important values of the distributions
- CREATE: Course Resource for Editing and Analyzing Tutorials in Excel - Basic statistics with traditional approaches to data analyses
- ARISE: Arelational and Relational Interval Statistics with Excel - Relational and arelational confidence intervals for means and pairwise comparisons
- EASE: Estimation Approach to Statistics with Excel - Calculate, test, and plot confidence intervals for means, mean comparisons, and standardized effect sizes
- GREAT: Grading and Embedded Assessment Tool - Strategy for embedding educational assessment into the existing graded assignments for a course
